MARK  - FIRST AID LEAD INSTRUCTOR

An experienced Military Police Detective, Mark received further training with Greater Manchester and the Metropolitan Police, in Interviewing Vulnerable and Intimidated Witnesses, Sexual Offence Investigation and Obtaining Best Evidence.

 

Utilising this experience and knowledge, he provided instructional courses in Sexual Offence Investigation and Stop and Search, and mentored junior police officers. On leaving the Armed Forces, Mark became and Advanced Motorcycle Instructor and ran a motorcycle training business for 3 years.

 

Mark then worked for Northeast Ambulance Service as an Emergency Care Assistant for 2 years before assuming a role as a Domestic Abuse Prevention Officer with Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services. Latterly, Mark has worked within the Security Industry, as a Door Supervisor then Assistant Security Manager for a large holiday park.

 

Over the last 20 years, Mark has been a volunteer football coach and an Army Cadet Force Instructor.

 

He has also obtained a BTEC Level 5 in Social Care and Children’s Management, BTEC 3 in Education and Training as well as SIA Instructor qualifications.

CALLUM - SIA LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Callum has a wealth of experience in the security industry spanning over 10 years. Callum co-founded his own security company.

 

The company supplied door supervisors, manned response and static guards, but prided itself on equipment installation such as CCTV, Intruder alarms, automated barriers and so on. He was a keen rugby player, fortunate enough to be a part of the Newcastle Falcons set up and to represent Scotland at under 18’s and under 20’s.

 

Make sure to ask him all about it! Callum was also a Security manager in the largest UK holiday provider, hosting a team of up to 18 door supervisors.

 

Having said this, Callum started out working pubs and clubs from Newcastle city centre up to the Scottish Borders and knows what it’s like to work the front line himself.

 

Callum is qualified to teach and assess SIA qualifications such as door supervisor and CCTV, first aid training, fire safety training and much more.

ANDY OFFICE MANAGER/ INSTRUCTOR

Andy’s security career carries 20 years of knowledge.

 

Andy, along with Callum, was co-founders of their own security company. The company provided a range of services, to include supply and installation of CCTV systems and intruder alarms as well as providing static guards and door supervisors, door entry systems, mobile patrols and key holder facilities.

 

Andy has also worked in pubs, clubs and holiday parks around the UK as a door supervisor, also he has been part of airport/runway security team at Edinburgh airport, with varying roles ranging from baggage searches and passport checks, to vehicle checks and runway & perimeter patrols.

 

Andy has an education and training qualification as well as being able to deliver SIA qualifications along with other training courses. Andy is a keen motorcyclist and quad biker, with a passion for old American vehicles.
